Accessibility

VMPKP wants everyone — including people with disabilities — to be able to find information about our institutions, programmes and admissions. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

• Semantic page structure with a logical heading order and landmark regions.
• A “Skip to content” link and full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Text and background colours chosen for good contrast.
• Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages and announcements for assistive technology.
• Animations that respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
• Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktops, and support browser zoom.

Known limitations

• Some downloadable documents (such as scanned PDFs) may not be fully accessible. We can provide them in an alternative format on request.
• The embedded map is provided by a third party; the campus address and directions are also given as text.
